Us bloggers were all younger at one point, and those of us who aren’t professional writers lost the time and desire to write about our high school, collegiate, etc. experiences in depth. And as we matured, so did the internet, and all of its aggregation and SEO black hat tricks.
Kids today won’t remember that the internet was once a long form refuge. We have now 140 characters and texts. And as was once sung by a very wise artist:
Words are useless, especially sentences. They don’t stand for anything. How can they explain how I feel?
I’ve been trying to write some longer entries on here, but I keep getting the sense that I’m being a dinosaur. Blogging nowadays is all about combing Rihanna’s twitter account for content, right? Or posting silly pictures of shit that you find on google image, right?
